23 saying, “We found the prison locked with all security and the guards standing at the doors, but when we[a] opened them,[b] we found no one inside!” 24 Now when both the captain of the temple and the chief priests heard these words, they were greatly perplexed concerning them, as to what this might be. 25 But someone came and[c] reported to them, “Behold, the men whom you put in prison are standing in the temple courts[d] and teaching the people!”
